Use of fire doors in buildings -
6.3 - Institutional Building. 6.3.2  Life safety
a) All compartments shall be divided by self closing fire doors with electromagnetic hold 
open. A coordinator shall be provided to sequence the closing of double leaf door in 
case of an emergency.. b) Doors installed in fire resistant wall shall be kept in open position but will close 
automatically. Corridor door opening shall be minimum 2.0m in width (Double swing 
double leaf).
